The Foundation for Research on Concentrated Solar Energy – Lumicum laboratory, Sweden The Foundation for Research on Concentrated Solar Energy The Lumicum laboratory is a Swedish RTD performer. The laboratory was founded in 2008 after a grant from a regional bank to support the Swedish research in solar concentrators. The Foundation has acquired world class knowledge and equipment for low/medium concentrating photovoltaic/thermal energy systems, such as solar simulator, climate chamber, and a “sunwalker” to measure intensity fluctuations with different geometry. |

Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas Medioambientales y Tecnológicas, Spain Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas Medioambientales y Tecnológicas CIEMAT will participate in the project as RTD performer via Plataforma Solar de Almeria (PSA), which is the largest centre in Europe for R&D in solar energy. CIEMAT-PSA has 30 years experience in the field of solar energy applications and is a worldwide reference for evaluation of solar concentrating systems. It has coordinated several EU projects, many of those relevant with solar applications and few with ORC technology. CIEMAT-PSA has several pilot plants for studying the de-centralized generation of water and electricity from solar energy. |

Deconinck SA, Belgium Deconinck SA, Belgium Deconinck SA (DECO), founded in 1982, was originally active in the maintenance and repair of steam boilers. In recent years, DECO has made several notable acquisitions, while specializing in the design, construction and installation of complete units, offering a wide range of steam boilers, high-pressure steam generators, and thermal oil boilers. DECO also offers a complete service: guarantee of delivery, maintenance of all types of burners and boilers, spare parts and rental boilers mobile.
Recently, some small scale boilers (e.g. on biomass) are under development, while others for CHP applications are being manufactured. The company has a long experience in heat exchanger design and construction under high pressure conditions. |
